How TooolAI collects and uses data when you use our browser-based tools and services.
TooolAI provides browser-based utilities (QR & barcode generators, PDF converters, image and media editors, AI generators, developer utilities, calculators, resume builder, and games). Many tools process files locally in your browser; in other cases (optional uploads, server-side features), we process data temporarily to provide the service.
Data you provide: files, text, or content you paste or upload to use a tool (e.g., uploading a PDF to convert). For features that require an account or sign-in, we collect basic account info (email, name) only when you choose to create an account.
Automatic data: non-identifying logs such as browser type, device, IP address, pages visited, and usage metrics to help us improve the service, diagnose issues, and measure performance.
Cookies & tracking: small cookies and analytics (see cookie section). You can control cookies via the cookie banner or browser settings.
We use collected data to:
- Provide, operate and maintain our tools and services;
- Process files and user inputs to perform requested conversions or edits;
- Improve and monitor the website and tools, fix bugs, and measure usage;

Whenever possible, TooolAI processes files directly in your browser (client-side) so your files never leave your device. Tools such as format converters, image compressors, and some AI utilities run locally — check each tool's page for details and whether uploads are required.
Some features (large file processing, cloud AI generation, or features labeled "Upload") may temporarily upload files to our servers or third-party providers. In these cases, files are retained only as long as necessary to complete the task and are deleted according to our retention schedule. We treat uploaded files as confidential and apply access controls.
TooolAI may display ads (e.g., Google AdSense) and use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand usage. These third parties may collect non-identifying information through cookies or similar technologies. We do not sell your personal information.
Links to third-party services are for convenience and are governed by each provider’s privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies before sharing personal data with them.
